Summer Cleanup on Lake Martin

Come out on Saturday morning, July 14, 2007 for an hour or two and help clean up and area of Lake Martin at one of the four locations along the lake. Volunteers can meet at DARE Park in Dadeville, Alexander City Boat Ramp, Union Boat Ramp, or Kowaliga Bridge Boat Ramp.

This event is from 8:00 a.m. to noon and is being organized by the Middle Tallapoosa Clean Water Partnership with support from Alabama Power employees and sponsors as part of the Renew Our Rivers Program.

T-shirts, trash bags, and gloves will be provided to all volunteers at each location beginning at 8:00 a.m. Drinks will also be provided and prizes will be given away.
