Join us as we celebrate God and Country in our 18th annual Celebrate Freedom Christian Concert Event. Each year gets bigger and better and has grown into Alexander City’s largest event! We are proud to present our headliner Colton Dixon who became a household name in 2012 when he was a fan favorite and made it to the top seven on season 11 of American Idol. Since that time, he has been streamed over 100 million times across all platforms and has set the record on the biggest first-week sales by a new solo Christian act. His sophomore effort “Anchor” included the most played Hot AC single of 2014, “More of You,” as well as fourth consecutive No. 1 “Through all of it”. His third studio album “Identity” included the top 5 single “All that Matters”. He has won 2 Dove Awards and received back-to-back K-Love fan award nominations for male artist of the year. Following a 3 year break, he returns with a new sound and he’s coming to Alexander City to your 2022 Celebrate Freedom Event! We also have special guest GFM – Griffith Family Music from Sylacauga, Alabama. Anybody that has heard them were blessed with a strong testimony and the music they produce. Mickey is quickly becoming one of the most sought after entertainers. His quit wit and his ability to entertain crowds of all ages has him performing on stages all across America. His shows are high energy and more than just corny church jokes. And finally, we have our annual firework show that is presented by Pyro Shows of Alabama where we light up the skies of Alex City and put on the cities largest firework show!
