Al Kelley was re-elected by a landslide Tuesday to his seventh term as Millbrook's mayor.

Kelley took 1,359 votes to challenger Tim Love's 679. The last three campaigns Kelley ran were unoppossed.

"I want to thank the voters for the confidence they have placed in me," Kelley said about 10 p.m., voice hoarse from taking calls from well-wishers. "We have a lot of good things going on in Millbrook, and I think the voters showed they want those things to continue.

."I'm ready to get right back to work Wednesday morning."

Love, a local retail store manager, could not be reached for comment.
