Horseshoe Bend NMP Creates Trail Detour

Horseshoe Bend National Military Park: Due to recent storm damage, we have temporarily rerouted a portion of the nature trail. Two bridges over stream crossings were damaged, making them unsafe to traverse until repaired. Until these bridges can be replaced, the nature trail will have a temporary detour onto the nearby administrative road. The detour is well marked so that hikers will be able to easily and safely navigate the trail.
