Lee County Historical Society invites you this weekend for 48th Annual Pioneer Day at Loachapoka!  There will be many folk life demonstrations, music, arts and crafts, country cooking, and childrens activities.

We will be hosting the First Annual Breast Cancer Classic on October 19 at Martin-Savarese Stadium, featuring 2 Professional Minor League Football Teams.

The Columbus Storm will take on the Riverdale Spartans in what is sure to be an epic battle on the field.

We encourage you all to join us that night for this amazing opportunity. General admission is $10.00 and kids 12 & under get in free.

Make plans to join us on the Town Green at Russell Crossroads for the Fall Family Festival!  There will be a pumpkin patch, wagon and pony rides, face painting, pirate scavenger hunt, grist mill, blacksmith, and a petting zoo.  We'll have hotdogs, boiled peanuts, funnel cakes and more!

Thanks to AWWA President, Michael Freeman, we are excited about the Second Annual Alabama Water Watch Association Bass Anglers Classic fishing tournament to be held on Saturday February 22nd at Wind Creek State Park on Lake Martin; for details see: .

Please consider either 1) participating in the tournament, or 2) donating to Alabama Water Watch Association or Lake Watch Lake Martin

All proceeds of this event will go to payouts to tournament winners, and the AWWA for providing water monitoring kits and educational outreach throughout Alabama.

Boats decorated with flags with an Independence Day theme parade from Kowaliga Marina to Childrens Harbor. Judging takes place and awards are given for the most decorated boats in different categories.

Fireworks at dark in the Kowaliga Bay area of Lake Martin. This annual event is one of the best fireworks shows in the southeast.
